			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">This is example of how I work with customizable illustrated maps. I create the base map first, then add the elements that can be dropped onto the base map to complete the final illustrated map, as shown in the images for the Jock of the Bushveld Map below.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">By doing the maps in this way, the same base maps can used to create several different themes based around the same area. I have already completed a base map for Southern Africa, The Cape District in South Africa, and one of West Cork and Kerry in Ireland. The elements for each map can be added to make Historical Maps for schools, or maps for the tourist industry that could include, pubs and restaurants, ancient monuments, walking trails, and many other relevant topics. The possibilities are endless.</p>
